The Discovery Flora & Fauna set of prepared slides comprises 24 transparent specimens that can be examined using any biological microscope fitted with bottom illumination. The specimens are completely ready for observation: they are mounted on a slide, treated with a special solution and sealed with a cover slip. This means no preparation of the specimens is required. You can start observing straight away.

All the specimens are divided into six groups. Each slide represents one group and contains four specimens. Each specimen is clearly labelled so that you can easily identify what you wish to examine. To begin observation, simply place the slide on the stage, adjust the objective lens and the lighting (if necessary), and you’re all set! This set is excellent for learning more about the microcosm.
