The Levenhuk Ra Plössl 17 mm 1.25” model is a universal eyepiece compatible with telescopes with a 1.25” barrel diameter. It is suitable for observing outer space and deep-sky objects. This optical accessory effectively eliminates optical aberrations, so it can be recommended even to the most discerning customers. It can replace the standard eyepieces originally supplied with the telescope, significantly improving image quality.
The optics are made from fully multi-coated glass and housed in a robust aluminium body. The eye relief is rather short, but the apparent field of view is quite wide at 55°. Thanks to this field of view, deep-sky objects can be observed in greater detail.
