Levenhuk F4 ‘Solar System’ Filter Set

The Levenhuk F4 ‘Solar System’ filter set comprises optical filters for telescope eyepieces. These filters are useful for studying outer space. They enhance the contrast between areas of the planets that are not uniformly illuminated, allowing you to observe even the finest details. Levenhuk #23A 1.25” Optical Filter (light red)
This filter is indispensable for studying the planets of the Solar System, particularly Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. It is also suitable for daytime observations of Venus and twilight observations of Mercury. The Levenhuk #23A 1.25” optical filter (light red) enhances the brightness of a comet’s dust tail. This filter has low light transmittance and is recommended for use with telescopes with apertures of 130 mm or larger.

Levenhuk #58 1.25” optical filter (green)
This filter is also best suited to apertures of 130 mm or larger. Once fitted to a refracting telescope, it will effectively eliminate chromatic aberration and improve image resolution. It is recommended for observing Mars, the polar regions of Saturn and Jupiter’s atmosphere, as well as the Moon and the brightest comets.
