Levenhuk #23A 1.25” Optical Filter (light red)
This filter is indispensable for studying the planets of the Solar System, particularly Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. It is also suitable for daytime observations of Venus and twilight observations of Mercury. The Levenhuk #23A 1.25” optical filter (light red) enhances the brightness of a comet’s dust tail. This filter has low light transmittance and is recommended for use with telescopes with apertures of 130 mm or larger.

Levenhuk #58 1.25” optical filter (green)
This filter is also best suited to apertures of 130 mm or larger. Once fitted to a refracting telescope, it will effectively eliminate chromatic aberration and improve image resolution. It is recommended for observing Mars, the polar regions of Saturn and Jupiter’s atmosphere, as well as the Moon and the brightest comets.

Levenhuk #80A 1.25” Optical Filter (blue)
This is one of the most popular filters for planetary observation. It is indispensable for examining Jupiter’s Great Red Spot and the details of Saturn’s rings. It is suitable for studying Mars’ atmosphere and polar caps. It is also useful for observing Venus and Mercury. This filter can also be used to observe binary stars, comets and the Moon.

Levenhuk #12 1.25” optical filter (yellow)
This filter features high transmittance, so it can be used on telescopes with small apertures. It is one of the most popular filters for observing Mars. It is also suitable for observing Jupiter and Saturn, as well as for studying the rings of Neptune and Uranus in detail. This filter can be used to observe comet tails and the lunar surface.
