Levenhuk 870T Trinocular Biological Microscope

The Levenhuk 870T is a reliable trinocular biological microscope suitable for brightfield observations. It is commonly used in various medical laboratories for clinical research in dermatology, biochemistry, cytology and other scientific studies. Thanks to the trinocular design of the head, this model can be converted into a digital microscope by adding a digital eyepiece camera.

The microscope head is inclined at 30 degrees and can be rotated 360 degrees about its axis. Four objective lenses on a rotating objective holder, Köhler illumination, and adjustment of the aperture and field diaphragms make this microscope an ideal instrument for serious observations.

The stage (140 × 155 mm, 5.5 × 6.1 inches) moves along two axes. Focusing is achieved by turning the coarse and fine focus knobs, which raise or lower the stage, thereby moving the specimen closer to or further away from the objective lens. Both focusing systems offer smooth movement in increments of 25 mm (1 inch) for coarse focusing and 0.002 mm (0.00008 inches) for fine focusing.

A 6 V, 20 W dimmable halogen lamp is fitted to the base of the microscope and serves as the light source.

Furthermore, the Levenhuk 870T 8 M digital trinocular microscope is compatible with other Levenhuk digital cameras (sold separately). Levenhuk cameras are fitted into the eyepiece tube in place of an eyepiece.

The microscope comes with two additional accessories for connecting a digital camera: an extension tube and an additional extender. We recommend using these accessories when using short-focus objectives to achieve the best focusing results.
