Levenhuk DTX RC1 Remote-Controlled Microscope

The Levenhuk DTX RC1 remote-controlled microscope is a modern optical instrument that proves indispensable for working with jewellery, watch mechanisms, electronic circuit boards and other small, complex objects. Thanks to the wireless remote control, the microscope’s main functions can be operated whilst standing some distance away from the instrument. This is particularly convenient during presentations or group research sessions.

Instead of the usual eyepieces, there is a 4.3-inch LCD screen. It captures the image seen through the objective lens and displays it in real time. If required, the image can be transmitted to a computer screen. To do this, simply connect the microscope to the computer using the USB cable provided. Samples can be examined using either optical or digital magnification. The total magnification range varies from a factor of 3 to a factor of 220. Furthermore, the microscope allows you to take high-resolution photos and record Full HD videos (a memory card, not included, is required).

Lighting system on flexible supports
The lighting system is not your typical system. Various LEDs are positioned within the objective lens assembly: the classic top lighting for observations in reflected light. In addition, there are two LED spotlights mounted on flexible arms that can be tilted to different angles to precisely direct the light onto the work area. The brightness of the system is adjustable.

Taking photos and videos with the wireless remote control
All the control buttons are located directly below the LCD screen, but some of the options are also available on the remote controls. There are two types of remote control: one connected to the instrument by a cable and one that is wireless. The wired remote switch controls the lighting. It is fitted onto the power cable. You can use it to switch the microscope on and adjust the brightness of the lights. The wireless remote control allows you to adjust the magnification, take photos and record videos. Using it makes it easier to produce high-quality recordings, as even the slightest touch of the microscope could alter its settings and blur the image.
