The Ermenrich NG20 gas detector is an easy-to-use, instant-response portable gas detector that can detect gas leaks. This tool should always be at hand if you have gas appliances, such as stoves, boilers, fireplaces, water heaters, etc. Its use helps prevent fires from breaking out by detecting the danger in a timely manner. It is recommended to check gas appliances and their pipes at least once a week.
Instead of a screen, this instrument has a small panel with warning indicators: a yellow LED light for minimal leaks at 500 ppm and a red LED light for more substantial gas leaks at 2,000 ppm. There is also an audible alarm. When the green LED light is on and steady, it means that the gas concentration is within the normal range. When the green LED light flashes, the batteries must be changed immediately.
This instrument is lightweight, fits comfortably in the hand and is powered by two standard batteries. There is an automatic switch-off function for energy saving. One set of batteries normally lasts for about 200 measurements.
